Emma Smigel is a passionate and versatile dancer, choreographer, and instructor originally from North Liberty, Iowa. With over 15 years of experience across multiple dance styles—including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, and hip hop—Emma has dedicated her life to the art of movement.

Her dance journey began at the age of two, and by 12, she was competing in regional competitions and conventions while also performing with her high school dance team. After graduating in 2021, Emma took a bold step toward her professional aspirations by moving to Brea, California, to train at The Space, a prestigious dance studio. In October 2022, she relocated to Los Angeles to immerse herself in the city’s vibrant dance scene.

Since moving to L.A., Emma has worked tirelessly to refine her craft, training with top choreographers and participating in various projects, including music videos and live performances. Her commitment to growth extends beyond performing—she is also a dedicated choreographer and instructor. She began teaching at her home studio in Iowa and continues to work with students there while also teaching at several studios in Los Angeles, inspiring the next generation of dancers.

Emma is known for her innovative choreography, attention to detail, and ability to create captivating performances that engage and inspire audiences. She thrives on challenges, embraces new opportunities, and continually pushes the boundaries of dance. Beyond movement, she is eager to explore other creative avenues, including acting and singing.
